School Attendance Policy

1. Reporting Absences:
Parents/Guardians are required to promptly submit written explanations for all their child's absences from School. The Parent/Guardian's signature on the explanation note will be verified against their signature on the official enrollment form to ensure authenticity.

2. Extended Absences:
Unapproved absences exceeding one week may lead to the child's temporary removal from the School roster. Re-enrollment will necessitate a formal application and payment of the relevant fees.

3. Impact of Long-Term Absences:
Prolonged absences, regardless of reason, may impede the child's academic progress and potentially necessitate repeating the current grade level, including the final year. To meet the School's academic standards, attendance in all terms must be at least 75%.

4. Leave of Absence for International Travel:
Formal requests for leave of absence for international travel must be submitted in writing, specifying the departure and anticipated return dates. School fees for the term of travel (and the subsequent term, if applicable) are required in advance. Learners who do not return to School on the designated date will be considered absent and required to provide an explanation.

5. Leave of Absence During Term Time:
Approving leave of absence during the academic term will be considered on an exceptional basis.
